The  Mon Valley Performing Arts Academy seeks to enrich the lives of local youth by providing quality education in the performing arts through affordable classes and production opportunities.

Youth who experience theatre education tend to develop empathy, self-confidence, and an awareness of social and civic responsibility.    Theatre teaches creativity, confidence, collaboration, focus, self-discipline, and accountability.

Our curriculum includes courses in acting, voice, dance, and stresses the importance of ensemble.

Until we find our permanent home, the MVPAA is currently housed in Steele Hall on the campus of

PennWest California

The Mon Valley Performing Arts Academy is a 501(c)(3) organization with the goal of providing no or low cost arts education to youth (adults, too) in the Mon Valley.
